It is important to know that beneath the dust seals of almost every suspension fork or shock is a lubrication system, which works either with grease or oil. If these dust seals are regularly treated with products like WD40 or Brunox spray after the ride, the oil or grease – with the significantly heavier viscosity, get’s flushed out and the fork can “run dry” – The result is a significantly drop in performance and in the worst case wear leads to malfunction.
Each suspension Manufactor we talked to told us that brunox not only make your fork seals dry, it also get's inside and destroys the oil. At the first moment when you put brunox on your fork it feels better, but for the longer performance it's not good!
