| Introduction: |
| Freely available satellite |
data enables mapping real |
measured land temperature change with high spatial |
resolution and full coverage from pole to pole and |
without any areal interpolation. |
On internet there is plenty of numerical and graphical |
data of temperature change, but getting the overall |
picture of recent climate change not skewed by spatial |
sampling/interpolation error or any kind of 'adjustment' |
or 'homogenization' is difficult. Typically the |
available maps compare present situation with some |
cooler period as an 'anomaly'. It would be most |
interesting to know what is the real recent temperature |
change calculated in plain degrees.
