Introduction:
Freely available satellite data enables mapping real
measured land temperature change with high spatial
resolution and full coverage from pole to pole and
without any areal interpolation.
On internet there is plenty of numerical and graphical
data of temperature change, but getting the overall
picture of recent climate change not skewed by spatial
sampling/interpolation error or any kind of 'adjustment'
or 'homogenization' is difficult. Typically the
available maps compare present situation with some
cooler period as an 'anomaly'. It would be most
interesting to know what is the real recent temperature
change calculated in plain degrees.
