Campan kampien yhteensopivuus

Sopiiko Campan kaikki Ultra-torque kampisetit keskenään vai pitääkö ottaa jotain muuta huomioon? Esim. Chorus Super recordien tilalle?

11s Super Recordien tilalle voi laittaa 11s Chorukset, ihan sama mitoitus on.

Myös Fulcrumin Ultratorquet ovat yhteensopivia Campan kanssa. Noita näkee joissain kaupoissa aika hyvään hintaan, kts.esim. Merlin. Fulcrumilla ei tosin 11sp-kampia taida olla.

Jos pyörässä on ollut SR kammet, niin erittäin todennäköisesti siinä on myös SR kupit. Näistä puuttuu sisätiivisteet, joita ei keraamisten laakereiden ansiosta tarvita. Kai niihin joku wattikin hukkuu.
Tälläinen rajoitus on siis huomioitava. Uudet kupit ei montaa kymppiä maksa.

Jos pyörässä on ollut SR kammet, niin erittäin todennäköisesti siinä on myös SR kupit. Näistä puuttuu sisätiivisteet, joita ei keraamisten laakereiden ansiosta tarvita. Kai niihin joku wattikin hukkuu.

Joo tuli hankittua Choruksen kompaktikammet. Sopiikos nuo SR:n keraamiset laakerit Choruksien kanssa? Sithän ei tarttis kuppeja hommata..

Siis toi on se keskeltä poikkastulla akselilla oleva.Ilman oikeita työkaluja laakeriden vaihto voi olla työläs, ja kalut taas hintavia ? verrattuna niihin kuppeihin.

Lainaus Campan sivuilta, laakerien mitat samat. Nää on kyllä kautta linjan kirjoitettu niin, että pitää etukäteen tietää mitä näillä tarkoitetaan. Laakerien vaihto ristiin ei mikään amerikan temppu ole, helppo ne on myös rikkoa, jos ei tiedä mitä tekee.

All the bearings for ultra-torque cranksets are dimensionally compatible. The Super Record 11s crankset uses CULT technology for the bearings, which are lubricated with oil and exploit all their characteristics of smoothness only when combined with the respective caps that have a special surface finish and do not have the 2 internal gaskets (OC-RE002) used on the caps for standard bearings. If used with normal caps, the performance will be limited by the friction produced by the presence of the 2 gaskets, which have the purpose of preserving the NON-CULT bearings, as well as the fact that they could rust prematurely. If, instead, your mechanic has used grease to lubricate the CULT bearings, the performance of the CULT technology will be neutralised, making the expense useless.

Tässä nyt sitten varoitellaan ruostumisvaarasta puuttuvien tiivisteiden takia, jos normilaakerit pyörivät SR kupeissa. Kaikkihan on tietysti mahdollista.

Taidan viedä kammet vaihdettavaksi paikalliseen, jospa siellä onnistuisi laakerien vaihto. Toisaalta uusien kuppien kanssa vaihto takasin normikampiin käy helpommin..
